This is our 2nd tip in our series “Windows 7 – 15 Tips You Need to Know”. This information is also available in our “Windows 7: 15 Tips You Need To Know” eBook.

With Windows 7, we’re finding things to be much different–

Here’s a short list of improvements of Windows 7 over Windows Vista:

  • Much shorter startup time (on the same computer, Windows 7 loads in 24 seconds vs. 44 seconds on Vista!)
  • Word, Excel, and other office products load, and even operate, much faster on Windows 7 than on Vista, and XP.
